Their presence serves a couple purposes, not the least of which being that it makes things interesting. Since choads are notorious for starting shit, the rest of the group will have constant opportunity to break up fights, be heroes, defend their brothers, etc. Choads are also reassuring to their friend group, in that they provide perpetual examples of how NOT to behave, if one wants favorable results. Men can learn from choad mistakes without having to make them on their own.
